Ebba Brakenhielm

Ebba Brakenhielm has been working in Rouen, Normandy since 2006 as a tenured INSERM researcher, and since 2019 as a Research Director of the cardiovascular research laboratory INSERM UMR1096. She has a background in vascular biology, and initially trained at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. Her team is focused on discovery of mechanisms of Heart Failure and development of new treatments to resolve cardiac edema and inflammation, including by accelerating cardiac lymphatic clearance in experimental cardiomyopathy models. https://insermu1096.fr/
