Semmelweis Medical Services Ltd., owned by Semmelweis University, building on the professional background of the University and the outstanding experience and expertise of the physicians working at the clinic, provides paid services.

Our services are exclusively available at the clinics of Semmelweis University.

Foreign clients who do not benefit from any kind of valid national insurance in Hungary have the option to access the entire range of Semmelweis University’s services by paying a service fee.

Our most sought-after services include general surgery, plastic surgery, orthopaedic surgery, urologic and ophthalmic operations, laser eye surgery, laser vascular surgery, dermatologic, cosmetic, internistic, genomic, vascular or even comprehensive paediatric examinations, all of which are carried out to the highest standards.

We use state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging (UH, CT, MR, PET CT); and our university laboratory is capable of carrying out tests of almost any kind.

Moreover, we offer special services such as weight-loss (i.e. bariatric) surgery, intragastric balloon implantation, sleep study, and corrective face surgery.
