Travel scholarship

ORPHEUS offers 8 scholarships of max. €500 to cover the costs of travel, registration and accommodation to PhD candidates. Applicants must submit an abstract before 22 March 2026 to orpheus2026@semmelweis.hu with the subject heading “TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION”.

Selection is based on abstract submissions. The abstract can be about the results of a survey, a PhD forum discussion or activity, a newly introduced course/program in your doctoral school, etc. Scientific research abstracts are not eligible. Selected candidates can also be invited for a short talk in the program. Supported abstracts that are not selected for a short talk should be presented as posters during the meeting.
